This is an example of dreadful design.
I really don't understand what Wella were thinking. This packaging is so dull and dated that it doesn't stand out on a shelf full of colourful, shiny, vibrant hair dye boxes. Also I don't understand how they can put 'brand leader' in the top right corner.
Maybe it's meant to be a joke?
Who knows!

Something Cool Every Day
An interesting website I found, showing a piece of work made every day for a year. Took a while to look at all the images, but I particularly like the 'shattered' series of objects. They're all normally soft and easily destructible, but they're successfully manipulated to look hard and broken.

Rebranding Logos
Recently, I've been looking into changed and redesigned logos. I found this website which is really good for showcasing the old and new, and has quite a community of people commenting and sharing their thoughts.
Examples of redesigned logos are quite hard to find in published books, as by the time the book becomes published there's a possibility that in a year or so the new logo gets replaced by something newer.
Brand New
Rebranding is something I find interesting, as it can be a major struggle to change peoples opinions of an existing company. I find especially with food brands, they have to keep changing their image to fit with the ever changing new ideas on what's healthy, what does or doesn't cause cancer, and the trends for what children find cool.

Macbook Cover
An interesting macbook cover. A little pricey, but a good way to hide your mac away!
